Dreaming of a vacation amongst the magic but your budget is limited. We are going to share our Top Reasons To Stay At Disney’s All-Star Resorts.
We all know that a trip to Walt Disney World is expensive and finding the best deal can make all the difference when trying to plan a trip.
If your goal is to experience as much of the parks as you can than you’re probably not going to want to spend a ton of money on a hotel but you also still want a nice place to stay with things to keep your kids busy when your not at the parks.
The All-Star Resorts are great hotels for that family on a budget or if you’re looking to extend a few extra days onto your moderate or deluxe resort reservation.
They have spacious rooms, super fun theming and lots of fun activities for the entire family sprinkled around the resorts. And, all at a reasonable price making your dream of taking your family to Walt Disney World a reality.
There are three different All-Star Resorts each with unique theming. They include Disney’s All-star Sports, Music, and Movies.
Movies and Sports were definitely our kids favorite and from some of our photos above you can understand why.
On a side note, you may be thinking well wouldn’t it be better to stay off property? We have a few thoughts on that. Check out our post on 5 Reasons Why You Should Stay On Disney Property to see why stay within the magic is so great.
The one thing I will say these resorts can get pretty busy and the only transportation from the resorts to parks are the Disney buses. Depending on the time of year the buses can get pretty packed, however they do run frequently.
Theming
Each one of these resorts has the best theming, especially for your younger kiddos. They will love the life size characters and themed pools.
My kids loved the Toy Story and Dalmatian themed areas at All-Star Movies. What’s better than walking around amongst the other toys feeling like your one of the toys in Andy’s room.
Rooms
The rooms at the All-Star Resorts are spacious, newly remodeled and perfect for a family of 4 with options to adjoin rooms. Each room has 2 queen beds or 1 King, and includes a hair dryer, free Wi-Fi, mini fridge, coffee maker, iron and ironing board and a in-room safe.
Pools
Each resort has a main pool that’s located right off the resort lobby as well as other quiet pools if you’re looking for a more relaxing space.
At All-Star Movies there is a Fantasia-Themed pool inspired by the classic Disney film and at All-Music you can swim along with the Three Caballeros in a guitar shaped pool.
As a side note: There are bathrooms and showers near each pool quiet pool and there is also laundry. In the past I’ve used my kids pool time to wash some clothes mid week, this is a great way to cut down on the amount you pack each trip.
Food Court
The food courts are also themed for each resort. Here you can find breakfast, lunch or dinner amongst other snacks and drinks..
Of course you can’t go to Disney without getting the classic Mickey Waffles and not to worry they also have plant based and allergy friendly menu items as well.
You can find items like pizza, pasta, burgers and grilled items to satisfy your hunger after a long day at the parks.

Movies
Are you looking to take a break from the pool but still want to entertain your kids? On select night, the All-Star resorts offer complimentary showings of your favorite Disney films under the stars. They are usually played near the main pools at each resort. You can find a full listing of their movie schedule near the front desk at each resort.
Activities
Besides the pool and movies nights there are several other activities for those non-park days. You and your family can gather around the campfire to roast marshmallows, check out the arcade, play at one of the outdoor playgrounds or participate in crafts that are typically offered near the font lobby.
So if you’re looking for a reasonably priced resort with great theming and plenty of activities for your entire family then we would recommend checking out one of the three All-Star resorts for your upcoming Disney vacation.
