Calling all animal lovers this Christmas. The Zoo Lights in Madison, WI is a must visit to share some holiday cheer along side your favorite animal friends.

The lights at Henry Vilas Zoo is such a fun family event that it gets a page all on its own.
The Zoo Lights are a great way to support one of the few admission free community supported zoos across the country.
My kids thought it was so cool to see some of their favorite furry friends after hours under the glow of millions of holiday lights.
This is a ticketed event and the 2023 season has officially started. Tickets this year must be purchased online and will not be sold in person.
The Zoo lights are open Friday, Saturday and Sundays from 5:30 p.m. until 8: 30 p.m.. The lights go from November 24th thru December 30th.
Tickets are $10 per person and children 3 or under are free.
Your ticket will include admission and Unlimited Carousel rides. Santa is available every night for family photos and those Christmas lists up until December 23rd. You will need to bring your own camera or cell phone for the photos.
You can also purchase snacks, hot cocoa and adult beverage’s at different locations throughout the zoo.
Parking does fill up fast so we recommend carpooling if able. There are a few different parking locations on the North side and 2 lots on the south side of the zoo as well as street parking.
