What speaks relaxation more than a Hawaiian vacation? How about a day to Relax At Laniwai-A Disney Spa.
On our recent trip to Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa we had the opportunity to experience the most amazing spa experience and we can’t wait to go back!
Below we are going to share what Laniwai has to offer and some of our favorite things we experienced during our time there.
Spa Therapies
At Laniwai you have the ability to choose from dozens of treatments to help you relax and immerse yourself in the beauty of this island.
From signature treatments like a traditional Hawaiian massage with lomilomi sticks and warm river stones to facials that leave you glowing and refreshed, there is some thing for everyone.
My husband and I took advantage of their couples massage. This was a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon together and recoup from our adventures around the island and resort.

Kuala Wai: Outdoor Hydrotherapy Garden
My personal favorite of this entire experience was the hour we spent before our massage in the Hydrotherapy Garden.
This super relaxing oasis was the most amazing start to our experience at Laniwai.
With a purchase of any full service spa treatment you get access to O’ahu’s only outdoor water garden.
We did not take many photos in this area out of the respect of other guests, but I promise you you will not be disappointed with the water sanctuary.
Here you will enjoy soaking pools of varying temperatures, six waterfall rain showers, whirlpool jet spas and a cold water pool, all of which help reset your body’s regulatory system, boost your immune system and increase circulation.

Fitness & Wellness
If you’re into cardio and strength training like my husband and I, you will love the 2,000-square-foot fitness center and wellness center.
The center includes cardiovascular and strength training equipment, Peloton bikes, free weights and more.
They also offer fitness classes like yoga, cardio, strength training and boot camps. All of which are held on the sandy shores of the gorgeous Ko Olina lagoon.
My personal favorite was the sunrise yoga class. It was the perfect way to start my day overlooking the beautiful ocean views.
There is also a running/walking path called the Ko Olina Beach Park walking trail. It travels along the coast line past several resorts including Disney Aulani Resort. It is about 4.7 miles in length.
We took several morning and evening walks on this trail. It’s a great way to enjoy the stunning sunsets.
You can get all the information and full list of daily activities that you can book prior to the start of your trip on the Aulani Resort and Spa website.
